Brysen Bocchino, CMHC (He/Him)
I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2019 with a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My areas of specialty include suicidality/crisis counseling, mood disorders (bipolar, depression, etc.), anxiety, grief, personality disorders, and faith transitions/religious trauma. Additionally, I am particularly passionate about working with clients who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community, as I myself am part of this community.
I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, and I do my best to ensure that treatment is tailored specifically to each client. I do not follow a “one-size-fits-all” approach. I work with individuals ages 18 and up. As a therapist, I emphasize the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist; I believe that this the foundation and key to successful therapy.
Starting therapy can feel like a scary, daunting, or even embarrassing thing, but I believe that therapy is something that anyone can benefit from—regardless of how big or small you might feel your problems are. I am here to help!
